White Flowers

I was recently given some beautiful flowers that were predominantly white or cream and I have discovered I love that combination.  Some eucalyptus would have been an interesting addition I believe. So hopefully my flower plantings this spring will have lots of different whites:)  Here is a

Welcome 2017!!!

Hello.  I really can't believe it is 2017.  But all my calendars say it is so guess I better jump on the 2017 train (no plane for me haha).   Here are some things I'm doing:  I am using the Simplified Planner this year.  So far I like writing things down and even bought some fun stickers to use.  It is interesting when you find one thing (book:  Grace Not Perfection) and it leads to another thing (planner: Simplified Planner) and then you see another blog (Lara Casey) and another book..... and on goes the list of new things that may influence your new year.  I used a Read Through the Bible Plan from You Version last year which I really liked and would recommend but for this year I have decided to choose smaller plans and focus on the gospels for a few months.  My daughter gave me some help with weight lifting ideas so I'm trying to incorporate them every day. Flowers, knitting, paper projects, exercise and organization are all being thought about!  Which means lots of new ideas and things to do/try for 2017!  I'm very grateful for so many blessing throughout 2016 and so many things to look forward to in 2017.  One suggestion I found in my reading is having a word for the year.  I have chosen Trust.  I truly want to trust God and follow His will not mine!

Now we are enjoying the snow and cold of Northern Michigan and today was cold!  Here are a few pictures:

Enjoy your winter day wherever you are!
