Spring

Today was very warm.  Very warm for this time of year.  I love warm weather! and spring flowers! but I am one of those who is thinking that cherry trees ( or apricot or peach or apple or pear or grapes) may bloom too soon and then be susceptible to a frost.  But I'm thankful we can trust God with everything although it is still hard not to worry!

I finished a table cover that I am using on an old table we brought from North Dakota when Lew's folks had their sale a few years ago.  I used a pattern from a French General book I have.  I'm very excited I actually made a project from one of my books!!  My scallops are certainly not perfect but they were fun to make.  I found a good way to iron them after I had turned them.  Cut a circle (half of which is the size of the finished scallop) from poster board.  Push it into the scallop and press.  Take it out and go to the next one.  It made the pressing job much faster:).

For some reason the pic won't download so will try tomorrow. (It worked.)

Great tip for scallops! And cute table covering.

When Miss K saw your banner (not knowing it was your blog), she said, "I want to live there!"
